Women Street Photographers Spotlight Group Terms and Conditions

By joining this group and entering the photography competition hosted by Women Street Photographers, you agree to the following terms. These terms apply in addition to, and not in substitution for, the Irys Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Original Work

All entries must be original photographs taken by the entrant.
By submitting a photo, you confirm that you own the rights to it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or rights of privacy.

Content Standards

Entries must not contain offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content, as defined in the Irys Community Guidelines.
Any entry found to be in breach of these guidelines may be removed at the discretion of Irys or Women Street Photographers.

Authenticity & File Verification

Participants must retain the original file of each submitted image (RAW, TIFF, or original JPEG).
Irys or Women Street Photographers may request the original file at any stage of the competition to verify authenticity.
Failure to provide a requested original file within a reasonable timeframe may result in disqualification.

Visibility

As a member of this group, your participation (including your submitted entries) will be visible to group admins and other users across the Irys app.

Judging

Entries will be reviewed by a panel appointed by Women Street Photographers.
The judges’ decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Copyright & Usage

Entrants retain full copyright ownership of their photographs.
If you are selected as a winner or shortlisted participant, you grant Women Street Photographers and Irys a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use and publish your images for editorial, promotional, and competition-related purposes.
This includes use across digital, print, social media, and exhibition contexts directly connected to the competition.
You will be credited wherever reasonably possible.
Any commercial use beyond this scope will require your prior consent.

Winner Notification & Data Use

Winners will be notified by email, and announcements will be made within the Spotlight Group and/or the Irys app.
If selected as a winner, you consent to Irys sharing your contact details with Women Street Photographers solely for prize fulfilment.
Your data will be handled in accordance with the Irys Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
Participation is open globally unless otherwise specified.
This competition is open to photographers of all genders.
Employees or direct collaborators of Irys or Women Street Photographers may be excluded from participation.
